Clear Creek Rafting Company hired RWE to create a recreational access complete with bank stabilization for high traffic river usage. In addition, RWE provided instream improvements to the site including multiple vanes and grade controls to create feeding lanes and velocity refuge zones as well as deep over winter habitat to enhance the existing fish habitat. In this project, RWE incorporated the needs of the commercial boating industry with river restoration in order to improve the recreation as well as fish and aquatic habitat.
